Amador Senior Center, 229 New York Ranch Road, Jackson CA
Debra Kinnick has been nicknamed our “Rose Ambassador”
because of her infectious enthusiasm for roses. At the September 1st meeting, Debra will be sharing her tips for getting ready for the Rose Show, and how to preserve roses for the show by Dry-Wrap.
Dry-wrapping roses is a magical method of preserving cut roses for up to two weeks without water. If you are not familiar with the technique, you won’t want to miss this.
Debra grows a wide variety of roses, and exhibits in both the Horticulture and Arrangement Divisions. She is one of our newest Consulting Rosarians, and is Chair of the Senior Center Rose Garden – Amador County’s only public rose garden.
