John Deere 650The John Deere 650 is a 2WD or 4WD compact utility tractor from the 50 series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota for John Deere in Japan from 1981 to 1989. The John Deere 650 is equipped with a 0.9 L two-cylinder diesel engine and gear shift transmission (8 forward and 2 reverse gears) with a dry disk clutch.

The JD 650 utility tractor used the Yanmar 2T80UJ engine. It is a 0.9 L, 854 cm2, (52.1 cu·in) two-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 80.0 mm (3.15 in) of the cylinder bore and 85.0 mm (3.35 in) of the piston stroke.
