Spring Arrangement Workshop

All Invited.  The following was received from Sacramento Rose Society member Ellie Longanecker:

“Cherry Hoover has generously offered to help kick off a Spring Arrangement Workshop on March 25 from 10 AM – 2:30 PM to encourage involvement
in  our April 23 rd Annual Sacramento Rose Society Rose Show.

I am hiring Frankie Raymond from the Sacramento Floral Design Guild to cover Modern Design, it is an area I am weak in and also we have not focused
on Modern that much in all the previous workshops.

Cherry has asked me to cover Modern Foliage vs Traditional. And some Leaf Manipulation?

We are supplying morning coffee/tea and a breakfast  snack, lunch, foliage and flowers, floral foam, wire and water tubes.

After lunch we would like our participants to make a traditional and a modern arrangement and Frankie and I will critique each attendee to polish our skills.

Attendees will need to bring 2 vases    one modern one traditional, and go home with a completed arrangements.

We are going to cap the attendance at 20 people because in the off chance the weather is bad we will have to set up inside. In addition Frankie wants everyone to feel

like they are getting enough individual help. Reading material will come to you via e-mail prior to the program.

The cost will be $30.00 and RSVP’s go to Cherry Hoover 916-765-1097.  Location in Carmichael provided upon RSVP.
